Could you tell our readers what they can expect in these new books? Mark Lewisohn (ML): I’m writing a biography of the Beatles which, if I get it right and achieve my aims – and I’ve set the bar high – could become, well, a lasting work. It’s a change of direction for me in that my previous Beatles books were ‘reference’ in nature, whereas this will be a pure biography in structure and appearance.
