« Show Me The Way » est la troisième chanson du 19e album studio solo de Ringo Starr, Give More Love, paru en 2017.
Comme sur « We’re On The Road Again », l’enregistrement comporte Paul McCartney à la guitare basse.
« Show Me The Way » est pour Barbara. Elle me montre le chemin. Nous sommes ensemble depuis 37 ans. Il y a des hauts et des bas. Je pleure. Elle pleure. Nous pleurons — il y a des jours comme ça. Mais il y a tellement d’amour et tellement de soutien. Nous continuons encore à apprendre à nous connaître, et nous adorons ça. Steve Lukather a coécrit celle-ci avec moi. Je voulais vraiment que Paul joue de la basse sur ce morceau, parce que c’est un morceau important pour moi en raison de ce qu’il exprime à Barbara, et Paul a dit : « Oui. » Pour moi, il reste le bassiste le plus mélodique et le plus incroyable. Paul joue chaque note magnifiquement. Et oui, nous avons une histoire commune et une alchimie. Cela entre aussi en jeu. J’adorerais que quelqu’un avec une grande et magnifique voix, comme Céline Dion, chante cette chanson, parce que je l’aime et qu’elle est importante pour moi. Mais, d’ici là, il faudra se contenter de moi.
