Dans un très récent entretien avec la presse, le rocker Ted Nugent a confié qu’il était très inquiet pour Paul McCartney, suite à sa détermination à donner coûte que coûte un concert à Tel-Aviv en Israël, le 25 Septembre prochain, et cela suite à l’annonce de menaces graves à son encontre proférées par des groupes musulmans.
Ted Nugent est tellement inquiet qu’il aurait même proposé à Paul McCartney de donner des conseils avancés aux personnels en charge de sa sécurité lors de son concert…. offre que l’ex-Beatles n’a ni acceptée, ni refusée.
Il n’en demeure pas moins aujourd’hui que cette annonce a surpris bien des fans de l’ex-bassiste des Beatles. En effet, Ted Nugent incarne un univers totalement opposé et contraire à celui de Paul McCartney. En effet, Ted Nuget, âgé de 60 ans, et officiant dans le domaine du Hard Rock, incarne les valeurs de la chasse et le patriotisme américain. Il est aussi connu pour son engagement au sein de la NRA (National Rifle Association), est un fervent supporter de la peine de mort, de la « self-defense » armée et du droit au port d’arme évidemment.
Ted Nugent confiait d’ailleurs il y a quelques temps à la presse : « Pour vous montrer comme je suis radical, je veux que les voleurs de voitures meurent, je veux que les violeurs meurent, je veux que les cambrioleurs meurent, je veux que les maltraiteurs d’enfants meurent, je veux que les méchants meurent. Pas de procès. Pas de libération sur parole. Pas de libération pour bonne conduite. Je les veux morts. Procurez vous un flingue et quand ils vous attaquent, tirez leur dessus. »
