Suites aux différentes menaces terroristes proférées à l’égard de Paul McCartney suite à sa décision de donner un concert à Tel-Aviv en Israël, sa famille ne cache pas une certaine inquiétude au sujet de l’ex-bassiste des Beatles.
C’est ainsi que Mary, Stella, et James, ont confié à la presse qu’ils étaient rongé par l’inquiétude de savoir les risques encourus par leur père en donnant ce show devant 70 000 personnes, et cela malgré un système de sécurité digne d’un chef d’état, qui sera déployé durant tout le concert
Un proche de la famille McCartney aurait confié au Daily Express : « La famille de Paul sait qu’il n’est pas du genre à faire marche arrière, et c’est pour cela qu’ils ne l’empêcheront pas de donner ce concert, malgré une grande inquiétude pour lui (…) Ses enfants préfèreraient qu’ils ne jouent pas à ce concert, mais ils acceptent l’idée, et les risques encourus ».
