Comme vous le savez sans doute, si vous êtes un lecteur régulier de Yellow-Sub.net (www.yellow-sub.net), c’est dans onze jours, le 25 Septembre prochain, que l’ex-bassiste des Beatles, Paul McCartney, se produira à Tel-Aviv, en Israël.
Ce concert, historique, et d’autant plus exceptionnel que les Beatles avaient quant à eux été interdits en Israël, devait être un évènement très attendu, marquant, et surtout placé sous le signe de la Paix, et du respecte entre les peuples. Il semble que cet idéal, décrit par Paul McCartney lors de diverses interviewes, puisse être en train de virer à l’aigre.
En effet, il y a quelques semaines déjà, nous vous révélions que le staff de Paul avait reçu des « invitations » à annuler son concert en Israël, sommations que Paul avait balayé d’un revers de main. Il semble désormais que ces « conseils » puissent devenir des menaces si on en croit un très récent article du journal britannique « The Express », qui révèle dans son édition d’hier que des menaces d’attentats à la bombe auraient été proférées si Paul n’abandonne pas son idée de concert à Tel-Aviv.
Fortement choqué par de telles menaces, Paul McCartney aurait été extrêmement heurté et meurtri par ces dernières, mais aurait réaffirmé sa volonté à donner un concert en Israël, rappelant lors d’une interview à la télévision Israélienne : « J’ai été approché par différents groupes politiques qui m’ont demandé de ne pas venir en Israël. J’ai refusé de répondre à leur demande insistante. Je ferais donc mon concert, et j’ai beaucoup d’amis qui vivent en Israël ».
Malgré ces propos pourtant extrêmement amicaux, Paul McCartney reste et demeure le centre des débats et surtout des critiques. C’est ainsi que divers sites internet israéliens n’hésitent pas à dire que Paul, se protégeant avec l’alibi de son amitié avec le peuple israélien, se produit surtout à Tel-Aviv pour des raisons financières, rappelant que l’ex-Beatles, décrit par lesdits sites comme un « infidèle » est là pour gagner la somme de 2.3 millions de livres (4,6 millions de dollars).
D’autres site sinternet accusent aussi Paul McCartney de soutenir l’apartheid en Israël, et invitent au boycott du concert et de l’achat des disques de l’ex-Beatles.
Omar Bakri Muhammad (né en 1958 en Syrie) qui est un imam radical, considéré leaders du mouvement islamiste britannique a quant à lui confié qu’avec ce concert, Paul Mccartney se ferait sans doute plus d’ennemis que d’amis, disant via son site internet : « Au lieu de supporter les Palestiniens et leurs souffrances, McCartney célèbre les atrocités de l’occupant (…) Paul McCartney est en train de se faire plus d’ennemis que d’amis (…) les amis de nos ennemis sont nos ennemis (…) La vérité est que Paul McCartney est l’ennemi de chaque Musulman. Nous en appelons donc à des sacrifices pendant ce concert (…) Si Paul McCartney connait le prix de sa vie, il ne doit pas venir en Israël et il sera sauf. ».
Le concert de Paul McCartney s’annonce donc sous haute tension, et si il est maintenu, se déroulera dans des conditions de sécurité maximale.
Le porte-parole de Paul quant à lui a simplement rappelé : « Le concert de Paul McCartney « Friendship First » est un concert musical. Paul veut déliver simplement un message de paix. »
