Along with blistering live performances and deing the ‘rock opera’, they were ‘the godfathers of punk’, and remain hugely influential. Includes interws with remaining members e Towshend and Roger Daltrey. Disc 2 includes rarities and previously unseen footage of the band playing live at the Railway Hotel in 1964, the earliest recorded film of the band performing.
