« Anthology 4 » is a newly produced work included in the « Anthology Collection », newly supervised by Giles Martin. Alongside demos and session recordings, it also features 13 previously unreleased tracks. This brand-new set packed with rare recordings additionally contains new mixes of two hit singles deeply tied to « The Beatles Anthology » — the Grammy Award-winning ‘Free as a Bird’ and ‘Real Love’. Both tracks have been newly revived by Jeff Lynne, who was also the producer of the original versions. The production also makes use of John Lennon’s vocal track, separated and extracted through the « demix » process. A 48-page booklet is included (liner notes written by Kevin Howlett, with a foreword containing a 1996 interview record with Derek Taylor, The Beatles’ close friend and adviser).
