« Hell To Pay » est un outtake des sessions d’enregistrement de NEW, officiellement publié en octobre 2014 dans le cadre de l’édition collector de NEW. Sur The Morton Report, Hell To Pay est décrit comme suit :

[…] bien qu’un peu sous-développé sur le plan lyrique, c’est un rocker mélodiquement inventif agrémenté de cordes orchestrales. […]

Paul McCartney a brièvement expliqué le sujet de la chanson lors des questions-réponses qu’il a tenues sur Twitter le 30 octobre 2014.

Et ‘Hell to Pay’ parle de quelqu’un qui ne donne pas en retour et donc il y aura un enfer à payer un jour… ».
