L’histoire de la chanson
Cette chanson a été rajoutée à lalbum au dernier moment ; Paul était à New York le 11 septembre et, en réponse immédiate à ses attaques, il a écrit « Freedom ». Interprétée lors du concert du Madison Square Garden, et suite à la demande sur ce titre, Paul a décidé de le rajouter à Driving Rain.
