Sir Paul McCartney fait preuve d’un goût impeccable avec ses nouveaux collaborateurs musicaux – Ed Sheeran et Jamie Oliver. La légende des Beatles, 72 ans, aurait enregistré la ligne de basse et les chœurs du nouveau morceau, qui sort pour promouvoir le Food Revolution Day, visant à éduquer les enfants sur la nourriture.

Le chef cuisinier Jamie, 39 ans, a coécrit une chanson avec Ed, 24 ans, qui sortira en mai. Le couple s’est réuni à Sydney vendredi soir pour finaliser les plans d’enregistrement et confirmer les stars qui ont accepté de participer.

Jamie a déclaré : « J’ai reçu un e-mail ce matin pour appeler Paul, il vient de poser la basse sur les paroles d’un hymne spécial que j’ai écrit pour le Food Revolution Day. Je l’ai écrit avec Ed Sheeran. Il sortira au début du mois de mai, une campagne virale. Nous avons composé les morceaux et Ed m’a chargé de réunir le groupe, alors j’ai dit à Paul : « Tu veux bien jouer de la basse ? » et il a dit oui ! ».

Parmi les autres stars qui se joindraient au projet, on trouve Chris Martin, 38 ans, et Paloma Faith, 33 ans, dans le mélange sucré, la cerise sur le gâteau revenant à Jazzie B, 52 ans, de Soul Il Soul. Ils prévoient de sortir la chanson gratuitement pour sensibiliser les gens à l’importance d’une alimentation saine.
