My name is Jamie Oliver I am here to say
I wanna talk about food revolution day
Half the world are starving with too little to eat
and the other half, people die from being obese
How people live the longest is they grow and they cook
Learn recipes from your parents or books
If you haven’t got a clue about the mess that we’re in
The answer is here in the words that we sing

We want a Revolution
Feed kids right for their stomach and mind
A Revolution
They deserve a better future but some people are blind
A Revolution
Educate the nations with a song with a vision
A Revolution
Do the right thing and sign the petition

The people in charge aren’t getting it right
Politicians don’t know and now they need to shed life light
Don’t rely on the goverment to fix this planet
No country in the world has ever won this fight
We are the only ones who can save our lifes

Revolution
We want a Revolution
Feed kids right for their stomach and mind
A Revolution
They deserve a better future but some people are blind
A Revolution
Educate the nations with a song with a vision
A Revolution
Come on everybody
Do the right thing and sign the petition

We all have a friend
Someone who is there from the start to the end
Someone who is there for the good times
And the worst of it too and guess what
That person is you
So from now on when you wake up the first thing that you do
Make yourself a promise that you eat better food
We better do what we can
Is better to reach somebody
Cuz you only get one body

We need a Revolution not evolution
Think about nutrition

This is revolution
We need a revolution
Do the right thing sign the petition
