L’histoire de la chanson
Ecrite à Minneapolis en mai 1993, cette chanson a certainement été très inspirée par la tournée Américaine de Paul McCartney de cette même année, tellement ce titre a une allure de tour des USA.
Paul : Je voulais écrire quelque chose qui reflétait lAmérique, quand vous roulez dans le desert sur une grande route avec lhorizon plat. Je temmènerais faire un tour dans ma Cadillac. Je temmènerais a La Plage pour les vacances. Quand ils disent La Plage là bas…. Ce nest pas Blackpool !
