A la réécoute, le choix n est pas aisé.
les 2 singles tres "fab" se detachent. Les chansons defilent, tout est pas mal, mais pas de grosse accroche.

De memoire : en evoquant la voix de macca, elle disait que n etant pas un chanteur de jazz pouvant improviser, il n en etait pas moins redoutable par sa capacité a tourner les chansons dans les sens et avait une grande plasticité vocale.

On this album, Paul McCartney's voice is almost unrecognizable ...
It is different, it's true. On this record, it has something vulnerable, feminine, broken. It looks like something out of a vinyl post-1940s. Paul singing into a microphone that was used by Nat King Cole. I played and I had chills listening to this melancholy, this fragility. And then, on some tracks, like "My Valentine", he wrote for the record, his voice became blues, powerful like a crooner. He told me he was not sure whether to improvise: this is not true. He returned these songs in all directions.

On dirait que cette chanson là est directement sorti de de Flamin' Pie
Sa voix (de vieux Monsieur) se prêtre bien à ce genre de style Folk Pop

Une autre belle réussite, quant à moi, de cette époque est son interprétation du classique de Noel de Mel Torme, The Christmas song. Toujours avec Diana Krall, John Pizzarelli et les autres musiciens des sessions d'enregistrement de l'album Kisses on the bottom.

'New' ?
'Alligator', bien fichue, même si la chanson de base est du Macca somme toute assez standard. Mais la construction, la mise en forme et les guitares emportent la manche. Du beau travail, de la belle ouvrage comme on disait les siècles derniers.
Le reste ?
Pfff, qui a encore envie de se mettre un bon petit Queenie Eye pour dynamiter un lundi ensoleillé ? Sais pas.

je nai pas intervenu depuis longtemps !! mais a partir de hope of deliverance j ai decroché .. j ai esseayé flaming pie .. mais il y a meme plus de musiciens la dedans ..il ne les payait pas beaucoup on le sais .. mais la carrement y a plus de son ..... heuresement oasis etait la pour continuer les beatles ... beadye eye apres .. liam et son dernier all you dreaming off un regal ..coldplay est tres bon aussi .. le pauvre macca pourquoi il ne demande pas a ardy sarraf des fab four de chanter a sa place ..
