L’histoire de la chanson

Cest la première chanson dune série de 6 enregistrées avec Steve Miller dont 3 (Celle ci avec If You Wanna et Used To Be Bad) figurent sur lalbum, une quatrième (Broom Stick) est sur la face b du single Young Boy et 2 autres sont restes inédites. McCartney et Miller avaient commencé à travailler ensemble en 1969 mais navaient jamais achevé leurs enregistrements. 25 ans plus tard, juste après lenregistrement de Real Love les 2 se retrouvaient aux Etats Unis pour enregistrer Young boy dans un premier temps puis en Angleterre pour le reste.

Paul : Celle ci aussi fut écrite autour de la montre. Je lai écrite le temps que Linda cuisinait pour un programme du New York Time. Cétait génial de renouer ma vieille amitié avec Steve Miller, retravailler avec lui cétait comme retrouver des bonnes vieilles habitudes.
